Shenley Primary is a 1 form entry school, we are located in heart of the picturesque village of Shenley in Hertfordshire. Easily accessible to the M25 and A1, Shenley is perfectly located for job seekers from Herts, Beds, Bucks and Outer London.
We are proud to be a village school that maintains a family friendly, inclusive and community atmosphere, whilst reaching out to children and families from surrounding areas, Borehamwood, Radlett, St Albans and Potters Bar. We are privileged to be set among beautiful grounds and have an abundance of outdoor space. Shenley is a growing community with a varied demographic and we are looking forward to entering the next phase of our school’s journey.
Shenley School takes pride in our many achievements; the quality of teaching, the provision for the personal and social development of the children, the strong sense of community and above all, the academic, sporting and artistic success our children enjoy. Our recent GOOD Ofsted report Sept 2023 reflected these achievements. “Pupils are very proud of their school”, they enjoy taking on responsibility by taking on leadership roles like house captains and play leaders. “Pupils benefit greatly because adults know them and their families well.” Ofsted commended the pupils for behaving and learning well because leaders have high expectations.
Parents, carers and governors are actively involved in the life of the school and contribute much time and energy to help us enhance the environment; providing additional resources and quality learning experiences for the children.
