Description
St Helen's is a thriving, well resourced, and very successful voluntary aided Church of England primary school set in attractive grounds in the village of Wheathampstead. Standards of attainment across the school are high and the pupils are well motivated, well behaved and enthusiastic. The children, and the school, are extremely well supported by an experienced team of governors and a busy parents committee. Pupils enjoy a rich, well balanced and broad curriculum. Many of our pupils take part in a wide range of after school activities including music and sports clubs. The staff are friendly, supportive and work positively together. The school actively encourages staff development and takes pride in its approach to career professional development for all staff.
