Description
St. Michael's is a successful and oversubscribed one-form entry Primary School & Nursery near the centre of Bishop's Stortford. We are a contemporary Church of England V-A school and have strong links with the local church. Our children are enthusiastic and hard working. We offer a very broad curriculum with a good deal of fun! The Governors and PTA are hugely supportive.
In December 2019 we achieved a 'Good with Outstanding features' Ofsted report, highlighting our key strengths in Personal Development and Early Years.
We hold numerous awards and quality marks, including The Religious Education Quality Mark Gold Level, The International School Award, School Games Gold Mark and the Early Years Quality Standards Gold Level as well as various Woodland Trust Awards and a Mode Shift Stars Award.
St. Michael's is committed to safeguarding the children and adults that learn and work at our school. We work hard to ensure our processes and procedures for child protection and recruitment of staff and volunteers are robust and thorough.
