Studlands Rise First School is a happy, safe and caring school at the centre of a community where everyone is valued and respected. We are a one form entry First school with a Nursery, situated on a large attractive site in Royston, a pleasant market town with good contact links to both Hertfordshire and Cambridgeshire. We believe in making learning fun and value a close relationship with our families and creating a learning environment which motivates and stimulates our pupils. By working in partnership we ensure all children build on their enthusiasm and grow into keen confident, independent learners. The school is well maintained and well resourced with a supportive parent and Governing Body. Studlands Rise First School is part of a three tier school system located in Royston Hertfordshire. We are a well established, oversubscribed, First School with a nursery, catering for children from 3 to 9 years old. Our school has been judged as good by Ofsted in January 2016 with outstanding Personal Development, Behaviour and Welfare. The school is set back from the road in spacious grounds with several safe and exciting play areas. We have a large playing field with an adventure trail, two hard surface playgrounds, a quiet area and a wooded area. Children in the Foundation Stage Unit have their own spacious and secure play areas, one with climbing apparatus for the younger children, one with a covered area and a large shaded area at the front of the school. All our classrooms are light and spacious. We have a library area, a large multi-purpose hall, separate kitchen and dining room. We also have a purpose built ICT Suite.
