Description
Our school is a friendly, community Infant and Nursery School in a pleasant residential area on the south side of Harpenden. Our 2007 OFSTED report praised our provision as that of 'an outstanding school', where all children achieve well and have positive attitudes. Outcomes for children remain high and staff work very hard to ensure standards in core areas of learning continue to be outstanding. However, we also value and promote creativity in learning and were awarded a fifth gold Artsmark in 2017. Learning outside the classroom has a high status and our priority remains to provide children with exceptional learning opportunities that foster a life long love of learning through varied and well planned experiences. Staff, governors and parents are highly supportive and have high aspirations for the children. A 3 form entry school, The Grove has a 72 place Nursery, running 2 sessions of 36 children.
