The Thomas Alleyne Academy has been rated by OFSTED as a good school with outstanding leadership and management. It is an increasingly popular and rapidly improving 11-18 co-educational comprehensive academy which is justly proud of its reputation as a happy, caring and safe community where success is expected, achieved and celebrated. There has been education on our present site since the academy was founded by Thomas Alleyne, Rector of Stevenage, in 1558. Throughout our proud history we have been committed to achieving excellence in all that we do. We expect the highest standards of behaviour and achievement from all members of our community. The Academy has formed an innovative Post 16 Partnership with North Hertfordshire College and the Da Vinci Studio Schools. We achieved Academy status on 1st September 2013 sponsored by North Hertfordshire College. We are developing abroad and exciting curriculum offer for students and excellent professional development opportunities for staff.
