Description
Waterside Academy is proud to be a part of the Agora Learning Partnership (Multi Academy Trust) which includes a growing number of schools across Hertfordshire. Each school within the Trust retains its own values and culture but all the schools work closely together to ensure best practice and provision for the children within it.
Our aim is to ensure that the children at Waterside Academy learn happily, succeeding both academically and socially so they grow into happy, sociable and caring members of society of whom we can all be proud. Although we place a great emphasis on standards of maths and literacy, we also aim to develop the children's wider skills through our evolving curriculum. The children at our school are enthusiastic learners and we do our very best to make activities engaging, challenging and fun!
We pride ourselves with the sense of community and giving children a range of experiences. For example, every Friday afternoon we have Community Friday.
New staff to our school are warmly welcomed with a thorough and supportive induction. Our aim is to ensure staff feel they have been highly effective and are appreciated for their efforts.
