Description
Yorke Mead is a friendly, happy primary school that has grown from one form entry to two form entry. Our children are keen, enthusiastic learners with supportive parents. Our extensive and recently developed school grounds provide wonderful opportunities for learning outside the classroom, and we have a number of staff trained to lead Forest Schooling.
Yorke Mead also has wonderful facilities indoors with a new classroom block added as part of the expansion to 2FE. Our environment is bright, modern and attractive. In addition we are proud to offer good specialist provision including an ICT room and food tech room. These fantastic facilities extend to staff with a dedicated PPA room and small group spaces. Yorke Mead is a school where every individual (staff and children) matter, and where everyone can have the opportunity to grow and develop both personally and educationally.
