About the role
Are you interested in supporting children to develop a positive sense of self and the skills for lifelong learning? At Bernards Heath that is our aim for every child. We are looking for someone to join our team and make a differnce every day.
This roles involve working 1:1 with children following personalised timetables inside and outside of the main classroom with the full support of the class teacher from 8.45am - 3.15pm.
The successful candidate will:
* understand all behaviour is communication and will have a therapeutic approach to responding to behaviour
* act on feedback and ask questions
* be able to demonstrate inititive and resilience
* have a positive attitude and a willingness to learn
