Do you believe in nurturing the whole child and helping every pupil shine?We are seeking a caring, enthusiastic and committed 1:1 Learning Support Assistant to join our small, inclusive Church of England primary school nestled in the beautiful Hertfordshire countryside.

About the Role: You will work closely with class teachers, the SENCO, Headteacher and external professionals to support pupils with special educational needs. This will include providing in-class teaching assistance, small group interventions and 1:1 support.

Key Responsibilities:
Adapt resources and scaffold tasks under the guidance of the class teacher
Promote pupil independence and self-regulation
Support pupils with to access learning, build confidence and achieve personal targets
Communicate clearly with staff and parents
Help uphold our Christian values and inclusive culture

Position: 1:1 Learning Support Assistant
Hours: Part-time (term-time only) Monday-Friday 8:30am-3:00pm
Salary: H3 (dependent on experience)
Contract: Fixed term until end of summer term 2027
Start date: ASAP

Stapleford School is a village church school set in rural surroundings. Class numbers rarely rise over 24 and the school is well supported by the community. Staff, parents and children are all working together to improve the learning opportunities for everyone. There are four classes in the school. The youngest children are in Nursery (aged 3) and our eldest in Year 6 (aged 11). The school is well resourced and a joy to work in.
