About the role
We are looking to appoint a caring, child centred 1:1 learning support assistant in KS1. This role would ideally suit someone who has experience with children who have additional needs. This is a fixed term position based on funding until July 2026. Depending on SEND needs within the school, this role may become permeant.
The successful candidate will be working closely with the class teacher, other teaching assistants within the class, SENCo, Parents and sometimes professionals from external agencies. At times, you will be helping to adapt the curriculum for the pupil or working on a bespoke curriculum planned by the class teacher.
Work Pattern: Monday - Friday term time, 8.30am -1.00 pm (20.5 hrs per week, term time only).
