About the role
We are looking for 2 enthusiastic, hard working individuals with high expectations of themselves and others to join our school team as SEN Teaching Assistants supporting our Reception classes. The roles are to work on a 1:1 basis with SEN children.
The contracts are fixed term, with no end date, until the children leave the school or until funding changes or ceases, whichever is the sooner. The roles are for 27 hours 55 minutes per week, Monday - Friday, term time only. The roles start in September.
We are looking for a teaching assistants who:
- have knowledge of the primary curriculum,
- have high expectations of achievement and behaviour,
- have good numeracy and literacy skills (GCSE grade 4 / C or equivalent in English and Maths is desirable),
- have experience of working with children with SEND (desirable),
- can confidently communicate with parents, carers and class teachers; and
- understand and embrace the school's ethos.

The approximate part-time annual salary is £15,640, which equates to an hourly rate of £12.85.
