About the role
We are looking to appoint an Administrative Assistant to join our busy school office team. This role is part time, Monday to Friday during term time only. Ideal hours would be 8.30am to 11.30am, but flexibility may be possible for the right candidate. This role is to cover maternity leave and is on a fixed-term contract basis until the end of July 2027.
The successful applicant will have:
A full awareness of the importance of safeguarding;
excellent verbal and written communication skills with both children and adults;
an awareness of data protection and confidentiality;
the ability to work accurately under pressure and to multi-task successfully;
a minimum of GCSE Maths and English at grade C or 5 ,or the equivalent,
a good working knowledge of Microsoft Word and Excel,
The ability to cope calmly with whatever comes your way!
Experience of working in a school environment is desirable but not essential as full training will be given.
