About the role

We are looking for an experienced, enthusiastic and organised individual to join our busy After School Club team.

The provision runs Monday - Friday from 3.00pm-6.00pm and is extremely popular. The successful candiate will enjoy working with young children (age 3-11yrs), being kind, calm and creative. In addition looking after our children's safety and well-being is our top priority.

The position is for up to four afternoons per week (12hrs), paid at H3. The successful candidate will be required to complete Child Protection, Paediatric First Aid and Food Hygiene training, as well as other standard training in-line with working in a school. The role will involve setting up the room before each session, preparing and serving food, supervising children on the playground, resourcing and setting up indoor activities and directing after school club assistants with these tasks too. This will be under the direct supervision of the room leader.
