0.2 FTE (Required to teach one Psychology 6th form class but for the right candidate additional hours/teaching depending on other interests and experience can be considered)
Mount Grace is seeking a Teacher of Psychology to inspire a passion for unraveling the mysteries of behavior and cognition in our A-Level students!
About Mount Grace:
Mount Grace is a traditional, mixed comprehensive school occupying 20 acres of beautifully landscaped grounds. We are a rapidly improving, truly inclusive school with approximately 600 students including over 100 in the Sixth Form. We have a genuine partnership with local people and we are the community school of Potters Bar and the surrounding villages. Every student is offered a varied, personalised curriculum and will be challenged to achieve their full potential.
Psychology VIsion Statement
At Mount Grace students in the sixth form have the opportunity to study A Level Psychology. They develop a knowledge and understanding of scientific ideas, psychological concepts and theories and learn how to apply them to unfamiliar situations as well as theoretical/practical contexts. Students develop strong skills of analysis, interpretation and evaluation as they engage with scientific information and psychological evidence which help them to navigate the people and world around them.
