About the role

We are seeking a dedicated and dynamic Assistant Headteacher to join our team. You will support the headteacher in leading and managing the school, with a focus on Quality of Education and Teaching & Learning, alongside school improvement and a shared responsibility for the school.  The responsibilities will be shared with the deputy headteacher in the absence of the headteacher. The role includes a 50% teaching commitment.

We cater to approximately 210 pupils in School Years 7 to 11, all of whom have Education, Health, and Care Plans. Our students face a range of learning difficulties, autism, and speech, language, and communication needs. Your expertise will help them develop the confidence and independence they need to thrive in the community.
