About the role

At The Lea Primary School and Nursery, we are looking to appoint a reliable, caring, and enthusiastic Breakfast Club Lead to join our friendly team.

This is a fantastic opportunity to support children at the start of their school day, helping to create a safe, positive, and engaging environment.

About the Role:
As a Breakfast Club Lead, you will help supervise and engage pupils before the school day begins. You will support a calm and enjoyable start to the morning by leading activities, preparing and serving simple breakfast items, and ensuring the wellbeing and safety of all children. Working Hours will be Monday to Friday, 7:15am – 9:00am (term time only).

Key Responsibilities:

  • Supervising pupils in a safe and welcoming environment

  • Preparing and serving breakfast in line with food hygiene standards

  • Encouraging positive behaviour and social interaction

  • Setting up and clearing away equipment and resources

  • Following safeguarding and health & safety procedures at all times

We are looking for someone who:

  • Enjoys working with children and is patient and caring

  • Is reliable, punctual, and well-organised

  • Works well as part of a team

  • Has good communication skills

  • Understands the importance of safeguarding (training will be provided)

Previous experience working with children is desirable but not essential.
