About the role

Saffron Green is a vibrant and inclusive primary school, proudly rated ‘Good’ by Ofsted, at the heart of our community. We are looking for a reliable and proactive Caretaker to help keep our welcoming primary school safe, secure and well maintained.

You will help keep our buildings and grounds safe, secure and well maintained. This is a varied and rewarding role that allows you to make a direct impact on the smooth running of the school and the safety of our students and staff.

The successful applicant will have good practical skills, a flexible approach and the ability to work independently and prioritise tasks. In return, we offer a friendly and supportive working environment.

We are committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people, and we expect all staff and volunteers to share this commitment. The successful candidate will meet the requirements of the person specification and will be subject to an enhanced DBS check, medical clearance, and references.
