About the role

Sandridge School is a one-form entry primary school set in the beautiful village of Sandridge, St Albans.

We are looking for an enthusiastic, caring and inspiring teacher to join our dedicated and hard-working team to teach our Year 5 class two days a week (ideally Thursday and Friday but Wednesday and Friday might also be a possibility). This post is a ‘job-share’ with an established member of teaching staff.

The post will, initially, be for a year but there is a possibility of it becoming permanent at a later date. This is dependent on pupil numbers.

The successful candidate will be rewarded by joining our small team of supportive and fun loving professionals.  We work closely together to ensure the highest quality provision for all the children in our school community.

Sandridge School would be the perfect place to further develop your teaching career.
We offer consistent PPA time, access to high quality professional development and a learning community that is supported by wonderful parents and governors.

Visits to the school are very much encouraged and we would love to meet you.  Please contact the school office to arrange a mutually convenient time.

Sandridge School has rigorous Safeguarding Children Procedures and is committed to the welfare of children. All staff are expected to share this commitment. Any job offer will be subject to satisfactory DBS clearance and social media checks.
