Cover Supervisor
H5
32.5 Hours per Week | Term Time + 5 days for training and other school events
As a Cover Supervisor, you will play a vital role in ensuring that learning continues in the absence of teaching staff. You will supervise whole classes during short-term teacher absences, delivering pre-prepared lesson materials, maintaining a positive learning environment and encouraging students to engage fully with their learning.
Successful applicants will be confident working with groups of up to 30 students and able to establish positive relationships whilst maintaining high standards of behaviour and learning."

Has excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Is confident leading groups of young people and managing classroom behaviour effectively.
Is resilient, adaptable and able to remain calm under pressure.
Has high expectations of student behaviour and achievement.
Is organised, reliable and able to work independently.
Can build positive relationships with students and staff.
Is committed to supporting the wellbeing and success of young people.
Has a good standard of education, including GCSE English and Mathematics (or equivalent).
Previous experience working with young people is desirable but not essential. Full training and support will be provided.
