Contract: Fixed Term, Maternity Cover (Term Time + 2 Weeks)
Hours: 30 hours per week
Grade: H4
We are seeking a well-organised, detail-focused and proactive Data and Exams Assistant to join our team on a fixed-term maternity cover starting in September 2025. This is a fantastic opportunity to play a key role in supporting the smooth running of our data and examinations systems in a friendly and professional school environment.
About the Role
Working closely with the Data & Exams Manager, you will help maintain the school’s assessment and reporting processes and assist with the administration of internal and external examinations. This varied and rewarding role would suit someone with strong administrative skills, excellent attention to detail, and the ability to work to deadlines.
Key Responsibilities Include:

Supporting the production of accurate assessment reports and managing data input using our ARBOR system

Assisting with the analysis of assessment data

Supporting the full exam cycle, including entry preparation, timetable distribution, invigilator coordination, and exam day administration

Helping ensure all examination procedures are compliant with JCQ regulations

Assisting in the post-results process, including the preparation of result data and managing appeals
What We’re Looking For:

Strong administrative and IT skills (especially Excel and database systems)

A methodical, organised approach with a high level of accuracy

A flexible and professional team player

Ideally, experience in a school environment or in handling sensitive data (training will be provided if needed)
