About the role

Due to the promotion of our present deputy head teacher we are looking to appoint a new deputy head to join our inclusive and  popular Church of England primary school. We are looking to recruit a capable senior leader, who having already shown a positive impact on their school, is ready to take the next step. We are looking for someone who loves to teach and believes they have  the skills and abilities to  work with the headteacher and staff to ensure the best for every child. This is initially a class based role with generous release time for leadership responsibilities.

Our deputy head teacher will:

  • be an inspirational teacher with a proven track record of improving outcomes for all children
  • be a continuous learner, demonstrating an ongoing desire to understand and share best practice in meeting the needs of all children
  • be an excellent role model of Christian Values for staff and pupils
  • help to build on the school’s supportive ethos and recognition of the uniqueness of every individual
  • have excellent interpersonal and communication skills
  • liaise effectively with parents, staff, governors and the wider community.
