About the role
St Roses Catholic Infant School is looking to recruit an Early Years Level 3 Teaching Assistant as maternity cover, starting in October 2026 for a period of up to a year.
Pay scale: H4.6
Hours: 32.5 hours per week, Monday–Friday, 8:30am–3:30pm, term-time only (There may be some flexibility regarding start and end times for the right candidate)
We would like you to have the following skills and qualities:
* Level 3 qualification (full and relevant to Early Years is essential)
* Paediatric First Aid training (or willingness to complete)
* Be imaginative, enthusiastic, and hardworking
* High expectations of pupil behaviour
* Ability to nurture and encourage children to fulfil their potential
* Ability to thrive as part of a friendly and dedicated team
