Early Years Practitioner - Level 3 or Level 2

About the role

Requirements. You must have an Early Years Educator qualification level 2 or 3; full and relevant. We will ask to see your qualifications. We need a practitioner to work 12:00 - 4:00pm and at least one weekly After school club working until 6pm. 20 hour contract with some flexibility when busy.

We are looking for a exprienced qualified vibrant member to join our team. Someone that can provide fun learning activities and experiences to meet the children's needs and interests. It is a busy, rewarding position at our setting with two rooms for 2 year olds and 3 years plus. You will have a professional manner, able to discuss needs with families and professionals. You will have interest in supporting children with emerging and SEN needs. You will be proactive, work well in a team aswell as think on your feet.

We offer preschool sessions and daycare/wraparound care including breakfast club and afterschool club.  We close at Christmas for 2 weeks. Uniform is provided. Work place pension provided. 30 days holidays (pro rata two weeks must be taken at Christmas), we are also closed on Bank Holidays. 

Established in 1960 as Garston Playgroup our Pre-School has developed into a highly respected and popular childcare provider. For many years we were known as Lea Farm Pre-School, until September 2005 when we became Berrygrove Pre-School after the amalgamation of 3 local Schools. We changed our name again in September 2014 to Berrygrove Early Years Centre. Since then we have worked hard to develop strong links with The Grove Academy.

Our aim is to provide the best quality, flexible, affordable childcare. We do this by providing a happy, caring and stimulating environment where children aged 2-5 will recognise and achieve their fullest potential.

2 weeks paid holidays at Christmas as well as 15 days annual leave and bank holidays off. Uniform provided, DBS paid for as well as lots of training opportunities.
