About the role

Strathmore is a popular community school with our pupils at the heart of everything we do.  We are looking for someone to join our team of support staff in the Early Years. This will be 30 hours, Monday to Friday. The hours are 8.45am to 3.15pm with a lunch duty. 

Applicants should have experience of working with children, individually or as classroom support, including previous experience of supporting those with additional needs. The successful candidate will have excellent interpersonal skills, relating well to both children and adults, and have GCSE grade C or above in Maths and English (or equivalent).  They will come to work each day with a smile, be creative and flexible in their approaches and determined to provide the best for each child they work with.

The post is a permanent contract with start date as soon as possible. Salary will be paid on the H3 or H4 scale, £21575 - £23194 pro-rata, according to qualification and experience if candidate has Level 3 qualification. If Level 2 qualification this will be paid on H2 or H3 depending on experience.
