Early Years Practitioner Level 6

Are you a passionate and qualified Early Years Practitioner (Level 6) looking to make a lasting impact in a nurturing primary school environment?

We are seeking an experienced and enthusiastic Early Years Practitioner to join our dedicated team at Maple Grove Primary School. This is a fantastic opportunity to work in a caring, inclusive, and child-centred setting where your knowledge and passion for early childhood education will genuinely make a difference.

As a Level 6 Early Years Practitioner, you will play a vital role in supporting the learning and development of our youngest children. Working closely with our Early Years Lead and teaching team, you will:

• Plan, deliver, and evaluate high-quality, play-based learning experiences.

• Foster a safe, stimulating, and inclusive environment that supports each child’s individual needs and interests.

• Observe, assess, and record children's progress in line with the EYFS framework.

• Build strong relationships with children, parents/carers, and colleagues.

• Support transitions into Reception and throughout the Early Years setting.

We’re Looking For Someone Who:

• Holds a Level 6 Early Years qualification (e.g. Early Childhood Studies degree or equivalent).

• Has a deep understanding of the EYFS and early child development.

• Is warm, reflective, and nurturing, with a child-led approach.

• Communicates effectively with children, families, and professionals.

• Bring creativity, curiosity, and commitment to their practice.

• Has experience in a school or nursery setting.

• Has experience of leading a first school (desirable).
