Are you a caring, enthusiastic and proactive individual who loves working with young children? We are looking for a Full-Time Teaching Assistant to join our wonderful Early Years team, supporting our Reception class.
This is a fantastic opportunity to work in a friendly, inclusive school alongside two experienced and dedicated Reception teachers who will offer guidance, support and plenty of team spirit.
The Role:
As a key member of our EYFS team, you will:

Support high-quality teaching and learning in the Reception classroom.

Work with small groups and individual children, including those with additional needs.

Help to create a nurturing, playful and engaging environment.

Assist with day-to-day classroom organisation and outdoor provision.

Promote children’s personal, social and emotional development.

Days and hours: Monday to Friday- 8.30am-3.20pm
Salary: This a term time only role. The salary breakdown is below (figure pre 2025 pay award).
Your salary would be paid over the 12 months so you still receive pay during non-term time (1/12th of your salary will be paid each calendar month).
There is scope to move through the H4 payscale based on performance.
There is also the opportunity to earn additional income if you would like to run an after school club.
Contract: This is a permanant contract.

The selection procedure for the post will be as follows:
Anonymised application forms will be reviewed online. The recruitment panel will review all application forms for:
- Suitability for the role, per the job description and job specification
- Experience
- Complete and accurate information on the application form
The recruitment panel will shortlist candidates for the role, view full application forms and invite successful applicants to interview.
At interview stage, candidates may be asked to undertake a task relevant to the role and also partake in a formal interview with the interview panel, at least one of which will have Safer Recruitment training.
Based on the information gained from the application form and interview, the recruitment panel will meet to discuss which candidate, if any, has been successful in obtaining the role. The successful applicant will be notified and a conditional job offer letter will be sent to them. Unsuccessful candidates will also be notified and they may be offered the opportunity to discuss their application and interview with a member of the recruitment panel.
