EYFS Teaching and Learning Assistant
Salary range: between 24796 and 25989
Pay details: H2/3
Start date: ASAP
The headteacher and governors are seeking to appoint an enthusiastic and committed Teaching & Learning Assistant to work within Early Years to support the children's learning. This contract is to cover maternity until July 2026, however there is a good chance that another role could come up for the right candidate. You will become a member of a warm, friendly and supportive team. Applicants must have GCSE maths and English. It is desired that applicants also have a Level 3 EYE (Early Years Educator) or equivalent qualification. We are looking for someone who:
- Likes children and is keen to help them to grow and learn
- Is good at managing their time
- Has patience and empathy
- Presents clear and consistent boundaries and support
- Has a positive outlook and is able to face situations calmly
- Has initiative and flexibility
- Has experience working with children with SEN
