Female Graduate Assistant
We are seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated individual to work as an athletic development coach across a full range of sports. The post-holder will lead the athletic development of KS3 pupils in the School and develop the curriculum to support their development. They will support teaching staff to deliver the PE curriculum, develop resources and lead the development of the body weight studio suitable for KS3 pupils. They will work alongside the existing athletic development coach to support the development of dedicated athletes in the School.
With the School increasing its coeducational offering from September 2026, the successful candidate will support the department in the implementation and management of the PE and Games programme for female pupils. A requirement of this role will be to supervise and carry out checks of female pupils’ changing rooms at the start and at the end of each lesson, therefore it is an occupational requirement of the role that a female Graduate Assistant is required, in line with EHRC guidance, to protect the privacy and dignity of pupils.
The School has its own salary structure based on, but substantially above, national scales and a wide range of opportunities for advancement beyond the basic pay scale.
