If you are then we would love you to come and join our team.This is a great opportunity to work as part of a supportive and forward thinking Infant school team with other experienced teachers and hard working, conscientious support staff. This role is suitable for ECTs and full support will be given. We are fortunate to have flexibility on the number of days and can consider year group preferences; we want to find the best person for our children and play to their strengths.
You may be interested to know that after extensive research we have introduced a successful 'continuous provision' approach in Year 1 which has impacted positively on the children's academic progress and wellbeing. We have carefully planned transition in to Year 2 with this practice in mind.

Holtsmere End Infant and Nursery School is a Good (Ofsted April 2022) and progressive school. We hold the Inclusion Quality Mark and are considered an inclusive Flagship school.
We are an oversubscribed 2 form entry Infant and Nursery school on Woodhall Farm on the edge of Hemel Hempstead with a 40 place Nursery and an extensive leafy, outdoor space. We run a successful 'forest school' too and have recently introduced a dedicated SEN 'Blossom' classroom with a qualified and experienced SEN teacher.
Choosing a school you feel comfortable and confident in and with staff who will support you is a crucial decision, therefore we recommend that you come and visit our school prior to applying for the role.
