The Governing Body of The Reddings Primary and Nursery School is seeking a dynamic and inspirational Headteacher to lead our school forward. We are a one-form entry, maintained primary school with a nursery, located in the south of Hemel Hempstead, with 210 children on roll.
Our school has a strong local reputation as a warm, inclusive and aspirational environment for both children and staff. We are proud of our diverse community and therapeutic approach to learning, and we are now looking for a leader who will build on our strengths and lead us confidently into the future.
About Us
Rated Good by Ofsted (2024), The Reddings is a set in spacious grounds with a skilled, enthusiastic staff team. Our new Headteacher will join a school that:
- Embraces inclusivity with 29% of pupils having SEND and 24% eligible for Pupil Premium
- Has a Deputy Head to support the Head Teacher in leading the school to provide a high-quality education for all pupils
- Has an Assistant Head dedicated to Inclusion
- Delivers a revised and engaging curriculum designed to unlock potential in every child
- Encourages high expectations, creativity, and resilience among its pupils
