About the role
Woolenwick Junior School are seeking to appoint a skilled and enthusiastic Higher Level Teaching Assistant (HLTA) to work 5 days per week in Key Stage 2 at the school, 8:30am -3:45pm. 31.25 hours a week, term time only.
The right candidate will have responsibility for teaching a small group of 10 children English and Maths five mornings per week following and adapting planning provided by the class teachers. The candidate would be responsible for joint assessment of the children throughout the year.
There would be some whole class cover throughout Key Stage 2 in the afternoons as well as working with small groups. The candidate would need to be flexible and able to cover a whole class in any year group when the need arises.
