Higher Level Teaching Assistant - Learning Support (Numeracy)
One year Fixed Term Contract in the first instance
Salary - Band 3 Spine D - £29,668 FTE
Full Time, Term time only, 37.5 hours per week (part time hours will be considered)
Monday to Friday 8.30am to 5pm
Actual salary will be calculated on hours worked and term time only calculations
The successful candidate will be responsible for teaching and supporting in the classroom students identified with SEND who are experiencing difficulty in Numeracy.
They will be required primarily, but not exclusively, to support students with their numeracy, organisation, study skills, examination technique, process of information and memory.
They will need to work collaboratively as a member of the Learning Support team and contribute to the development of the Department. In addition, they will need to liaise with teaching staff, particularly those in the Maths Department.
