We are recruiting for a new role at Greenside School. As a growing school with a large workforce (upwards of 150 staff) we are looking for a knowledgeable HR leader. The Officer role will allow a dedicated HR professional to continue developing their skills and help transform processes in our school. As the school grows, this role has the potential to expand, giving the successful candidate the chance to develop new systems and line-manage more widely across the school. Our HR Officer will have an integral role in the school and lead on matters of HR

 HR Officer 32.5 hrs a week (195 days a year, term time plus inset days)

Greenside is a special school for pupils with severe or profound learning difficulties. Some of the children’s needs include Autism and Sensory Processing difficulties.

We are looking for candidates who can embrace our working environment, have compassion and warmth, and a passion for wanting to help our special school function at its best.   

Greenside has a progressive approach to staff. Including a supportive 'leave of absence' policy, opportunities to train and develop skills and work as part of a small team.

We welcome colleagues from all sectors with relevant HR experience, those eager to fulfil this role within a special school setting, embracing the unique culture, vision, and values of the school. 

Visits to the school before application are strongly encouraged and warmly welcomed. 

Although we are looking a full time (8-4) we can be open to discuss a part time role around school working hours. This role is term time focused and could be perfect for those with school age families.
