About the role

About this Role

We are seeking to appoint an outstanding, passionate teacher of Humanities who can inspire our pupils by delivering engaging, high-quality lessons. If you’re an experienced teacher ready for a new challenge, we’ve got something special for you.

You’ll teach across KS3 and KS4, but we’re a small school, and we want to be upfront about what that means. Your timetable may not sit neatly within the boundaries of one subject. Depending on the needs of the timetable and your own experience, you may also teach within other Humanities subjects. You don’t need to arrive as an expert in everything, but you do need to be curious, adaptable and willing to develop your knowledge. For the right teacher, that breadth is part of what makes the role interesting.

A KS3 background is ideal but not essential but experience with SEN and managing complex behaviours and needs is crucial to the success of the role
