About the role: We are seeking to appoint a Junior IT Technician to join The Ridgeway Learning Partnership(RLP). As a Junior IT Technician you will support the provision of effective IT services at Tring School and across the RLP.
Main areas of responsibility:
To work with other team members to maintain, repair and upgrade the school’s network, hardware and software.
To support the schools 1:1 Chromebook scheme and vision.
Assist staff and students with their IT related problems and answer their questions.
Carry out visual checks for obvious faults with equipment, record faults and find solutions.
Verify functionality of computer suites ready for a day of teaching.
Maintain a knowledge base of procedures and solutions for commonly reported faults.
Monitor and act as appropriate to ensure E-Safety policies are maintained and enforced within the school.
