About the role
We are seeking a reliable and enthusiastic Kitchen Assistant to join our team. This is a part-time position of 22.5 hours per week, working from 10 am to 3 pm across Mondays to Fridays.
This role involves a wide range of duties, including washing up cooking equipment, preparing light food, operating tills and counter service, setting up the dining room etc.
The ideal candidate will be a team player who is willing to ‘muck in’ and get the job done. You will demonstrate good communication skills to your team and others that you meet in your day-to-day work, and maintain a professional and positive attitude.

Contract: Part-time, Permanent contract
Grade: HB (Full-time Equivalent salary: £23,656 per year plus outer fringe allowance of £706 per annum)
Hours:
22.5 hours per week across Mondays to Fridays (10 am to 3 pm each day), including 30-minute unpaid lunch break where free meal is provided on site
Term time plus one week
Actual salary for Part-time hours and Term time plus 1 week contract: £12,671 per annum (inclusive of outer fringe)
Start Date: As soon as possible - Subject to satisfactory pre-employment checks
