About the role

We are seeking a reliable, hard-working Kitchen Porter to join our friendly catering team at St. Francis’ College. In this vital role, you will support the chefs and catering staff by maintaining a clean and safe kitchen environment, contributing to the delivery of nutritious meals for pupils, staff, and visitors.

15 hours per week, term time only.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Cleaning pots, pans, dishes, cutlery, and industrial kitchen equipment

  • Using dishwashers and completing scheduled cleaning tasks

  • Supporting food safety by assisting with daily fridge temperature checks

  • Storing deliveries and following stock rotation procedures

  • Removing waste and ensuring kitchen and dining areas are kept clean and hygienic

  • Complying with all Health & Safety and COSHH regulations
