Breakfast and Afterschool Play Worker
Hours: 7:00am – 8:45am & 3:00pm – 6:00pm (Monday to Friday, Term Time Only)
Contract: Part-time, Permanent
Start Date: As soon as possible
Salary: H1

Bonneygrove Primary School is seeking a committed and caring Breakfast and Afterschool Play Worker to join our dynamic team. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who is passionate about supporting children and looking to build a career in education or childcare.
We are proud to offer training opportunities, including support to achieve a Level 3 qualification in Children and Young People’s Workforce, for the right candidate.
About the Role
You will be working as part of our wraparound care team, supporting pupils before and after the school day. The role includes:
- Providing a safe, welcoming, and engaging environment
- Organising a variety of fun and age-appropriate activities
- Supporting children's social and emotional development
- Preparing and serving light snacks
- Ensuring children are safely handed over at the beginning and end of the day
What We’re Looking For
We are looking for someone who:
- Enjoys working with children and is passionate about their well-being
- Is reliable, friendly, and approachable
- Works well as part of a team and uses initiative
- Is willing to undertake training and professional development
- May have experience in a similar role (though this is not essential)
