About the role

Teaching Assistant – KS1

Are you passionate about helping young children thrive and excited to make a real difference to their learning and development?

We are looking for an enthusiastic, caring and dedicated Teaching Assistant to join our KS1 team. This is a fantastic opportunity to become part of a welcoming school community where children are at the heart of everything we do.

Have a genuine passion for working with young children and supporting them to reach their full potential.

Create positive, engaging learning experiences that inspire and motivate children.

Build warm, nurturing relationships with pupils and help them to feel confident, valued and ready to learn.

Work collaboratively with teachers and colleagues as part of a supportive and committed team.

Contribute to our excellent learning environment, where children are encouraged to be curious, independent and enthusiastic learners.

Support children during lunchtime, including supervising and ensuring their safety and wellbeing during this important part of the school day.

Hours and Contract

32 hours and 30 minutes per week, Monday to Friday, 8.30am – 3.30pm, including a 30-minute daily lunch break.

Term time only – 38 weeks per year.
