About the role

An exciting opportunity has come up to join our friendly, supportive and welcoming team. You will be working in Key Stage 2 (in Year 3, 4 or 5), with an experienced year group partner and will receive dedicated PPA time together. We are a positive and well-motivated team and the children are at the heart of all we do.

We are an inclusive village school with strong community links. Our large school site includes a woodland area and plenty of green space. We have over 400 happy children who enjoy learning from Nursey to Year 6. They demonstrate positive attitudes towards behaviour, social interactions and inclusion, following our THRIVE values. As inclusion lies at the heart of all we do, we are keen to ensure our staff team reflects the diversity and demographic of our children. We welcome applicants from all teachers who would like to join our friendly team.

Are you someone who loves teaching, is dedicated to achieving the best outcomes for every child and is interested in developing themselves as a practitioner too? This role would be suitable for Early Career Teachers or those in the first years of teaching. In addition to statutory ECT time, we can offer continuing professional development for PE and specialist music teaching, as well as support from our subject and phase leaders.

We can offer:

  • A two form of entry school with a strong and supportive staff team of 60.
  • High quality PPA release time to enable both year group teachers, where possible, to plan together on site.
  • A continuous cycle of training and support.
  • TAs and LSAs to support teaching and learning.
  • Specialist Music and PE teaching.
