About the role
We are looking for a part-time KS2 Teaching Assistant to join our happy and committed team. The successful applicant will be required to work alongside the class teacher to support teaching and learning opportunities for all pupils, as well as carry out the agreed duties of a TA.
As a Teaching Assistant you will be expected to build successful, positive relationships with pupils, supporting the class teacher to maintain a secure, challenging and stimulating learning environment. The candidate will have experience of working in school, preferably alongside children with SEND. The candidate will also support our children at lunchtime as a Midday Supervisory Assistant.
The working hours are from 8:30am to 1pm Monday-Friday, term time only plus training days. We could consider slight adjustments to the working day(s) for the right candidate.
You will be an integral part of a friendly and committed team of teachers and practitioners, and you must be able to work using your own initiative. All applicants should have a Maths and English GCSE grade C or above or the equivalent.
