Term time only (38 weeks p.a.) 32.5 hours per week
Grade H3, actual salary from £18,726p.a.
Required for September 2025
This post would also suit a current LSA willing to train to become a HLTA.
The Bishop’s Stortford High School has an exciting opportunity for you. We are seeking to appoint a dedicated and conscientious colleague to join our friendly Learning Support Department and be part of our highly effective SEND (Special Educational Needs and Disability) team supporting learning for students with a variety of individual needs including one-to-one, small group and whole-class support. This is a great opportunity to gain experience working in education and offers the possibility to work towards becoming a Higher-Level Teaching Assistant.

- An individual who has a genuine passion for supporting young people and helping them be the best they can be

The Bishop’s Stortford High School is a popular, oversubscribed 6FE school of 1260 students, providing a single-sex education for boys in Years 7 to 11 with a thriving mixed sixth form of close to 400 students, including 130 female students. This is a very exciting time to be joining our Outstanding school, as we relocated to a brand-new state-of-the-art school, in September 2024, on a large site less than a mile from our previous location.
