We are excited to offer the opportunity to join The Greenfield and Hurst Drive Federation as a Learning Support Assistant in September 2025.
Our federation serves a diverse and vibrant community on the border of Hertfordshire and London. Are you passionate about supporting children and strive to achieve the best possible outcomes for the children you are supporting? Are you creative with new ideas to stimulate children in their learning environment and are able to demonstrate good initiative when dealing with day to day situations? If so, then we would love to hear from you. We are looking to appoint a friendly, hardworking Learning Support Assistant (LSA) to start in September, working 8:30am - 3:30pm, term-time only. This is a fixed-term contract.
The successful candidate will begin supporting a child with special educational needs in the classroom, on the playground, and carry out intervention work outside the classroom.
Day-to-day, your role will include…

- Dedicating themselves to continuing professional development:
- Preferably speaks two or more languages, including English.
- Helping to create a safe learning environment where all children are encouraged, and enabled, to achieve their full potential.
- Enabling children to access learning, using needs-specific, personalised approaches, both with 1:1 and group learning activities.
- Assisting Teachers in the delivery of their lessons.
- Contributing to tracking students’ achievements against their learning objectives.
