About the role
We are seeking to appoint a learning support assistant to work with three children who
require 1:1 support. Each child holds an EHCP which regulates their support. The role will
involve ensuring that individual needs are met and the child receives a bespoke
educational experience. Experience of working with children and a track record of your
impact will also be advantageous.

The successful candidate will be:
• Happy and able to work across different year groups – splitting time between
the three children.
• A strong subscriber of our Values Education Policy.
• Experienced in working with children.
• Experienced as a learning support assistant or teaching assistant (preferable)
• Able to demonstrate maths and English competence (GCSE C grade and above or
equivalent).
• An excellent communicator and able to forge relationships quickly
• Is positive, proactive and purposeful
• Able to demonstrate strong behaviour management skills rooted in a therapeutic
approach.• Successful in helping our children achieve academically.
• Someone with strong determination, high standards and a sense of initiative.
• A reliable team player.
• Good humoured.

This is a fixed term contract until July 2027, but will be reviewed annually pending funding.
