Our school wish to appoint a Learning Support Assistant to work specifically with a named child who has an EHCP for his learning needs. The contract is fixed term as it is linked to funding while the child is in EYFS and equates to 25 hours – 5 hours per day. The successful candidate will be reliable, enthusiastic and committed to children's learning. They must be able to demonstrate the ability to use their own initiative, able to work with, and follow advice from, a wide range of professionals and have good behaviour management skills. Experience of working 1 to 1 would be beneficial but is not essential.

This post is exempt from the Rehabilitation of Offenders Act 1974 and shortlisted candidates will be asked to share any relevant criminal history prior to interview.
The successful applicant will also be subject to enhanced DBS and barred list checks in line with Keeping Children Safe in Education.
