About the role

We are seeking two enthusiastic, caring and dedicated Learning Support Assistants to join our friendly and welcoming staff team. Henham is a small village primary and nursery school set in a countryside location. We pride ourselves on our strong relationships within our supportive community and high staff retention rates.  The roles are across the school.

The ideal candidates will:

·         Be patient and nurturing.

·         Be a strong communicators.

·         Able to build strong relationships with children and adults.

·         Be reliable and trustworthy.

·         Be able to use their own initiative as well as being able to work as a team.

·         Be open to learning and taking direction and guidance.

·         Able to relate in a firm and friendly way with a wide range of personalities.

Position one:

Days:  Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, Friday, term time only

Hours: 11:00am to 3:00pm

Total working hours: 20 hours per week

Position two:

Day:  Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, Friday, term time only

Hours: 12:00 to 3:15pm (Monday to Thursday)

Hours: 08:45am to 3.15pm (Friday – includes 30 minute unpaid lunch break)

Total working hours: 19 hours per week

 

Pay range: Scale 3, point 5 to 6 depending upon experience

Actual pay: £13.92  to £14.14  per hour depending on experience

Annual full-time equivalent salary: £26,847 to £27,274

 

We are also seeking staff for our lunchtime provision and have flexibility on days.

Hours for lunchtime provision: 11:50am  to 1:05pm
