About the role

Role: Librarian

Salary/Grade: H7 (£31,067-£33,366 pro rata)

Hours: 23.25 hours per week (3 days a week, term time only)

Start date: September 2025

We are seeking a knowledgeable and inspirational librarian to support students and staff to make full use of all school library resources, and to encourage reading for pleasure. You will be responsible for maintaining the library as a calm, positive, safe and supportive learning and discovery environment for our students. The successful candidate will be passionate about reading and will be able to motivate and champion the importance of reading for pleasure to staff and students.
