Ashlyns is an oversubscribed school with over 1500 students, including a successful Sixth Form that was rated "Outstanding" by Ofsted in October 2023. The department has a proven track record of success, with 81% of students achieving grades 9-4 in Maths at Key Stage 4 in 2024, which is significantly above the national average of 60%.

The ideal candidate will have Qualified Teacher Status (QTS). They should have knowledge of the National Curriculum and be able to use a range of strategies to promote learning and manage behavior.

The school is looking for someone with enthusiasm, integrity, and strong team-working skills. They should be flexible, reliable, and well-organized.

Desirable qualities include the ability to use data to inform planning and improve student performance, and an innovative and creative approach to their job role.
