About the role
We are an alternative provision provider in St Albans for Hertfordshire County council.
We are currently seeking an enthusiastic, compassionate, and dedicated Maths Teacher with a specialisation in Special Educational Needs (SEN) to join our centre.
You will be responsible for delivering high-quality lessons across Key Stage 3, 4, and potentially Key Stage 5, depending on experience and preference. You will encourage a love for mathematics, develop students’ problem-solving skills, and foster critical thinking.
What We’re Looking For
We are looking for a teacher who:

Holds a relevant teaching qualification (PGCE, QTS, or equivalent).

Has a strong background in mathematics and a passion for the subject.

Has experience teaching maths to secondary school students (KS3/KS4, and ideally KS5).

Demonstrates a clear understanding of the current curriculum and GCSE requirements.

Is able to inspire and motivate students to achieve their full potential.

Is committed to continuous professional development.

Possesses excellent communication and organizational skills.

Can work effectively within a team and contribute to the school’s culture.
